SEIZURE

Sachin was sitting on the couch finishing his afternoon teas. Saj requested that we go for a walk before dinner, so we got sachs runners on and headed out. We walked along table too rd - we got slightly past the second bring when his shoelace came undone. We stopped and I tied up, and went to prompt Sach to turn around, but he was determined to continue on. We went on the another 100m before turning around and heading home. Sachin kept a good pace and appeared happy and was chatty. We arrived back home and Sachin sat on the couch in the theatre room for me to take his shoes off. I had taken one off before his foot went limp. I looked up to see Sachin staring at the ceiling and non responsive. I called to Praveena, who was I. The kitchen. After a moment, Sachin began seizing. He continued on for approximately 2 minutes. He sat in the chair for approximately 35 minutes afterwards while regaining his consciousness. We slowly moved him to the couch in lounge room and gave him some water. Praveena fed him dinner while on the couch, and we all had a very relaxed rest of the evening while keeping a very close eye on Sach. I turned the diffuser on in lounge and gave him his iPad once he was coming back to himself. He had a tea at 7pm, then a small snack and sleep tea at 8pm. His heart rate settled back into the 80’s after being in the high 90s directly after his seizure. Sach began to fall asleep on the couch at 830pm, so we decided to call it an early night for him.
