Day 50

28/4/2016

Sachin slept around 10 hours last night which was needed as he had to cover up for the last couple of days. He often loses weight when he gets more than 8 hours sleep. Perhaps it helps his metabolism or promotes his weight loss hormones to be more effective. In any case, his weight often drops when he has slept well.
After he had his breakfast, we went to Plumpton for shopping. Today I ordered cappuccino for him as it has lower calories. At first he reacted to the taste as he has never had coffee but seemed to like it after a few sips.
When we returned he seemed very lazy as we spent more than 2 hours shopping. After a while he got up and continued with his puzzle.
Later in the evening, he watered our garden.

Sachin slept around 6 hours last night and so we needed to adapt to accommodate his lack of rest. After breakfast, I did not come outside to the work area like I normally do but gave Sachin another cup of tea.
After a short while, he came outside on his own and started working on his puzzle. I think it is better if picks the tasks he wants to do, especially on days that a seizure is more likely. In any case, eventually he should be able to choose his daily tasks.
After a break, I took him to a friend’s place for a cup of tea.
When we returned, Sachin continued working on his puzzle.
Later in the evening, he watered our garden.

After Sachin had his breakfast, we went to Bunnings to buy things for our garden. We bought some seedlings, manure, gardening gloves amongst other things.
When we came back home, Sachin had a tea break. Then we started gardening. We cleared all the plants that were out of season and then mixed in the manure. We had a break in between as it was warm and Sachin seemed stressed. The garden is now ready for planting which we will do tomorrow.
Sachin watered the garden in the evening.

Sachin woke earlier today. Fitbit showed that he had almost hours of sleep.
He started the day joining pieces of timber with screws. After a while he started laughing for no apparent reason. He was becoming hysterical and so as a precaution, I took him to the bedroom. When he gets in such a mode, he is likely to have a seizure. He calmed down significantly.
After a while, I brought him outside and sat him at the puzzles table. He started laughing again and so I took him to the bedroom and put his media player on and gave him his Ipad.
Around 4 pm I brought him outside again and this time he seemed normal. He worked on his puzzle.

Sachin had a seizure last night as he only slept around 4 hours the night before. All the efforts to get him back to sleep again was in vain.
Today, after Sachin had his breakfast, we went to see his doctor to discuss the data I have collected on Sachin recently. After that we did some shopping and had chai latte.
When we returned home, Sachin made some coasters and then worked on his puzzle.
In the evening, he watered the garden.
