Shopping day

29/6/2016

Today we had our normal shopping day and cappuccino, except in a new car. Sachin seemed happy with this change.
When we came back home, he helped put the groceries away. Then he helped me collect garbage as it is garbage bin day tomorrow.
After that, he relaxed, listening to his media player.
In the evening, he seemed lazy when it was time to water our garden. I let him go back inside while I finished the watering the garden.

Sachin slept almost 13 hours last night. He usually does that after a seizure. We did not do much today except we went to a friends place for a visit.

Chilly Day

Sachin did not have enough sleep last night. I could not get him to sleep again.
Since it was very cold outside, we stayed indoors.
First, I had Sachin fill up his weekly pills container. He is getting a better understanding and mostly knows how many pills should be in each section. He does get confused between the AM and PM.
After that, we played snakes n ladders. Then he used is Ipad.
As expected, Sachin had a seizure in the evening.

Shopping day

Sachin went shopping today. He had his cappuccino and then we did our shopping. I think he likes the shopping day, mainly because of the cappuccino. Also, getting out of the house may be a factor and so we need to consider that. Eventually, as he gets older, we need to set a routine that he can comfortably maintain.
When we came back home, he helped me put the shopping away which he is taking a liking to. He does struggle with this task but with repetition, he will improve in terms of where everything is stored
. He watered our garden in the evening. He does not seem to enjoy the task but building a routine is important. One does not have to enjoy all their daily task but have to do it nevertheless.
Sachin had a good day based on my observations.
I believe that he is progressing well although addressing his seizures, remains a priority to be dealt with.

NSW Services Trip

Sachin had less than 6 hours of sleep last night. This has a strong indication of seizure occurring. I bought a car today which had to be registered. So along with a friend and Sachin, we went to NSW services at Prospect. Registration was successful but more importantly , Sachin seemed to enjoy the trip and the change. He seemed to be intrigued by adventure.

When we came back home, he watered our garden. After dinner, the family went for a ride in our new car. Sachin looked hapyy as well as his mother.

Prepartion for the birthday party on Saturday

Sachin turns 20 and his younger brother Rahul turns 18 on Saturday the 18th of June. Sachin helped me all day to prepare for the party. i.e. rearranging and cleaning up. He was not too happy with the tasks.
Unfortunately, he had a seizure around 8pm. I think it may have been because when his mother came back home after work, she went shopping without him. Plus, he was not happy with his day. He is okay now but every seizure, it seems to take a bit out of him.

Clean up

Sachin slept well last night and seemed to in a happier mode today. Licence to push him. We spent a lot of time to clean up yard. Sachin will be celebrating his 20th birthday while his younger brother, Rahul will be having his 18th. we as parents have neglected our younger son, even though it is hard admit that, but as parents, we have no doubts about our love for them. Sachin needs us more but Rahul is our baby. That is where we, have stuffed up. We is not right, it is mainly me who could not get the balance.

Anyway, this blog is not necessarily to focus on the external factors even though it is an integral part.
Sachin had a very happy day and we could not ask for much more.
Everyone seems to be happy when he is happy.
Let's have more days like this.

Today I took Sachin to a new hairdresser. He has had the same hairdresser for the last 15 years. He seemed comfortable with the change and was happy after the haircut. When we came home he had a shower to wash away the itchy hair remains.
After a cup of tea, Sachin made coasters. Then he used his Ipad.
In the evening, he helped me in the garden and then watered it.

Sachin had a seizure yesterday that lasted for than a minute. He did wet his pants. He had only 6 hours of sleep and so I was anticipating a seizure and unfortunately it did happen. He slept till late in the afternoon today so after breakfast he used his Ipad in order to give a relaxing day. We did not go for our usual walk today. In the evening, he watered our garden.
