Sachin slept exactly 8 hours last night.
After Sachin had his breakfast, he used his Ipad indoors as it was very hot outside. Again, we need to come up with ideas how to occupy him on hot summer days.
At 10:09pm, he came outside where I was and had blackout while he was walking around. Fortunately I heard his quick steps(thongs flapping sound and was able to prevent him falling on his face. It was not a seizure but a blackout that could have been serious.
We will think of action plan for such warm nights, especially since his day was not very active.

Sachin slept 4 hours and 41 minutes last night. I tried hard to get him to sleep again but did not work.
I gave him morning medication with extra 200mg of Epilim and then tried to get him to sleep. It was more than 38 degrees outside it was clear that he needed to stay in bed in an air conditioned room.
Around 3pm, I made breakfast and fed him in his bed. I let him get out bed for half an hour then put him back in bed. I also gave him another 200 mg of Epilim.
Around 5:30pm, I let him get out of bed and then gave him shower. When I gave him dinner, He wanted more but I stopped. He attacked me biting my arm. I gave him extra food because given the lack sleep, I felt I shouldn't stress him any further.
It's 10:15pm now, at the time of this blogging, he has not had a seizure when it seemed eminent and touch wood, he'll fall asleep soon given the lack of last night.

Day 156

Sachin slept just over 5 hours last night. I tried hard to get him to sleep again but had no success.
After breakfast, he used his Ipad on the sofa. As I dreaded all day, at 4:48pm, he did have a seizure and fortunately he was on the sofa. It was after 56 days that he has had a seizure. This was clearly the longest he has gone without seizure in over 4 years. about six months ago, he had seizures, at an average of every six days. He was on 1200mg of tegretol then.
After that, we introduced 200mg of Epilim on top of the tegretol. Then gradually increased the dosage as we started seeing positive results. Now he has 1200mg of Tegretol and 900mg of Epilim daily.
Whenever Sachin slept less than 6 hours, I gave him and extra 200 to 300mg of Epilim, depending on my judgement of the severity of the risk of a seizure. Today, His seizure occurred before I could give him his extra dosage.
Anyway, hoping that he will do better in his next stretch.
