Progress notes:
Greeted Sachin’s family at 5pm. Sachin was in the dining room drinking tea when I arrived. Today was Sachin’s second Covid jab. It took half an hour to get Sachin up to put his walking shoes on this afternoon. He really didn’t want to go. Saj toileted him before our walk but Sachin did go. I put his shoes on and we headed off. We only made it halfway around Cambridge drive before we turned around. Sachin was very heavy on my arm and quite delayed in returning fist bumps. Sachin completed 1,490 steps in the 13 minutes we were gone. Upon arrival Sachin went to the toilet and had a medium output of urine and I assisted in washing his hands and then brushing his teeth. We received our tea from Pravena and headed into the puzzle room. Sachin wasn’t very interested in his puzzle tonight and was refusing any help from myself. He kept looking through the pieces and then laying back in his chair. His heart rate stayed in the mid 50’s to mid 60’s for majority of the time. 6:30pm meds administered by Saj and Sachin took them. Sachin drank his tea very slowly tonight aswell. Sachin was very eager to get out of the puzzle room tonight and it took a lot of convincing to stay in there for a little longer. We retired to the lounge room where Mother and grandmother were watching tv at 7:10pm. Sachin made himself some more tea and drank it then sat down with us. We watched tv and Sachin sat very quietly watching and fiddling with his jumper string. I said goodbye. Shift ended at 8pm.
