Support worker Steve, shadow shift Liv

6hrs 28 minutes sleep  59 rhr 26°mostly cloudy ️.         Risk level high

Activities:

No walk tonight due to heat and risk level straight into program room to work on puzzle

Progress Notes:

Arrived to commence shift with Sachin at 4.50 pm and met with Shadow shift Olivia and had an introduction with both Saj and Preveena, then sat down to have some dinner with Sachin who wasn't too keen on what he was eating as it was a vegetarian dish ,Saj cut up some chicken schnitzel and mixed it through which seemed to make it a bit more enjoyable for Sach,it was decided to not take Sachin for a walk due to outside temperatures being extremely hot and Sachins risk level so we grabbed our cuppas and made our way to the program room so Sachin could get into his puzzle,Sachins hr started off quite high at 97 bpm then dropping down to 83 bpm staff noticed some fantastic interaction with shadow shift Olivia throughout the session, tonight Sach was quite cheeky and often vocal and was often laughing around Olivia whilst doing his puzzle, medication was given at 6pm with the addition of extra meds at 6.30pm not a lot of progress made tonight but appeared to be having alot of fun ,Sachin was really getting a lot of enjoyment out of his interaction with Olivia which was great to see ,then out of the blue Olivia picked up the guitar that was in the corner on a stand and started playing it and Sachins reaction was quite amazing as he completely stopped what he was doing and began smiling from ear to ear and was super focussed on Olivia ,staff then Toileted Sachin just after 7pm with a moderate output then back into the program room and eventually finished up at 7.30pm but took a little while getting him to pack up often being quite cheeky and stubborn but eventually complied making his way to the kitchen and setting up his tea routine then headed over to the couch to relax ,lots of laughter and was monitored till the end of shift at 9pm whilst his hr remained steady at 71 bpm.
